Achieve Fast Weight Loss Results by Eating Healthy

The most important things you can do to achieve fast weight loss results is to eat right and get plenty of regular exercise. The problem is that most people live a hectic life and have little time or desire to eat healthy or exercise regularly.

Despite the lack of time and desire you need to realize the importance of regular exercise and eating healthy. Proper diet and exercise is the most important thing when it comes to avoiding such diseases as diabetes, cancer, stroke, heart diseases, Alzheimer's, arthritis and the list goes on and on.

Before starting some fast weight loss results program you should first consider eating healthy which isn't as difficult as you might think. There are plenty of ways to eat better with out consuming a lot of time and energy in planning. If you work all day one of the easiest things you can do to improve your diet is to eat a piece of fruit in between meals. It's much healthier than candy bars or cookies and it will help you eat less during your regular meal.

Read the food labels before you buy anything. You'd be surprised to see the difference in calories and fat levels in the foods you currently eat. I once looked at the label on a frozen pot pie and was shocked to see that it had twice the amount of calories of any other frozen food I was currently eating. Just by eliminating that one food from my diet saved me hundreds of calories. I still eat frozen diners; however, I'm not consuming nearly the amount of calories as I did before I started reading food labels. This is a lot easier than trying to lose weight with one of those fast weight loss results programs.

If you must snack at night when you are in front of the TV, try to snack on something with less calories. Popcorn is low in calories and very tasty. Just be sure to buy the kind that isn't loaded with butter.

Fruit is a tasty and low calories snack. In addition to the great taste most fruit contains numerous vitamins and minerals. It tastes good and its god for you. Why snack on potato chips when you can snack on dried cranberries, apples, oranges, bananas, grapes, or some other tasty fruit.

Blueberries happen to be one of the foods with the highest concentrations of antioxidants. Why not add some to a container for sugar free yogurt as a snack? Use blueberries as a topping on a low sugar cereal to give it some flavor and sweeten the taste without adding calories.

Grapefruit makes an excellent breakfast meal. Add some orange juice and a slice or two of low calories wheat bread and you have a breakfast that is much lower in calories than a donut of breakfast sandwich.

If you get a craving for something sweet why not bake a cake using diet soda instead of sugar and eggs. Bake it in a brownie pan and use low fat cool whip as the topping instead of icing. The cake is just as delicious but with half the calories, fat and cholesterol. If you are baking a white or yellow cake use a clear soda like Sprite. If it's a dark cake use a cola like Coke or Pepsi. Trust me, even if you aren't watching what you eat you will still like this cake and so will everyone else.

Maintaining a healthy weight based on your age and height is essential to maintaining a healthy body. Food is your body's fuel. Fast weight loss results can not be achieved unless you watch what you eat. If your body poor quality fuel then your bodies engine won't run like it is suppose to. Poor quality food like foods high is sugar, salt and calories will ruin you body and lead to early onset diseases.

Think of it this way, would you rather take the time to make sure you are eating food that is good for your body and your overall health or would you rather face the numerous complication of diabetes or cancer? Diabetes can attack just about every organ in your body. It can cause you to go blind and lead to possible limb amputation. Type 2 Diabetes can easily be reversed or avoided by eating healthy foods, exercising and maintaining a healthy weight. Just eating right is easier than gaining weight and then trying to lose it with a fast weight loss results program.

The problem with most people is that they procrastinate. They wait until it's too late and they already have health problems before they consider losing weight and getting regular exercise.

I recently saw Jack LeLane on TV. If you remember, he was one of the very first health guru's to have a regular TV show where he showed his viewers how to exercise and stay healthy. He's now in his eighties and he said he still does not require any type of daily medication. Not one single prescription medicine. How many eighty year olds do you know that aren't on medication? This just goes to show how effective proper diet and exercise can be.
